I wanted to introduce new instruments, mainly drums and percussion, but the challenge was to do so without compromising in any way the identifiable sound captured on the debut. “Joining forces with Fred Claridge has been great because he has a very subtle style to his drumming which is complementary to the songs and guitar playing.”
